Maintenance Department

The scope of the Maintenance Department is to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment to avoid major break downs when possible.  Repairs covered by the Maintenance Department are as follows: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Boilers, Telecommunications, Electronic Lock Controls, Door Hardware, and all other types of building maintenance.

The McDonough County Maintenance Department performs maintenance on the following McDonough County buildings:

  • Animal Shelter

  • County West Building

  • Courthouse

  • Highway Department

  • Jail

  • Zahren Building
